Shannon Frances
Shannon Frances is a freelance writer who draws on her experience in the wine industry and corporate event world, her love of yoga, and organic lifestyle, to create engaging content for a range of clients.
Shannon is a Certified Wine Specialist with the Society of Wine Educators. Additionally, she passed with distinction when earning her Level 2 WSET from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Having worked in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Sonoma/Napa, and Southern California. Her career path within the wine industry has been focused on wine education, private and corporate events, special event sales, and corporate event planning. She loves any excuse to write about wine or events or any of her other interests. Oh, and did we mention? She likes wine.
In her free time, Shannon loves yoga, meditation, dancing and swimming. She developed a deeper understanding of her Yoga and meditation practice through a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher training in Hatha Raja Yoga with Lisa Willet and Barbara Brady at Yoga Community, Sonoma in 2017.
Recently relocated from Napa, California to Morrison, Colorado, Shannon spends her days exploring the area looking for the best wine bars, hiking, doing yoga, dancing, tending her garden, cooking healthy food for her family, and raising her newborn daughter Belle and her toddler Monte.
